Resident European lawyers

Anyone who is a citizen of another EEA member state or Switzerland, is authorised to conduct the profession of lawyer in his country of origin, is of legal capacity and trustworthy, and can prove a law firm domicile and a liability insurance as laid down in the provisions of the Act on Lawyers may have himself registered in the List of Resident European Lawyers.

A resident European lawyer may carry out the same professional activities as a Liechtenstein lawyer. However, he must not be elected into a governing body of the Chamber of Lawyer, must not train trainee lawyers, and must not be appointed as a legal aid counsel, legal aid defence counsel, or court-appointed defence counsel.
